We were delighted to have Inveraray Castle Gardens featured in the March edition of Scottish Field magazine. The gardens are a mix of formal gardens full of colourful Azaleas and Rhododendrons in the summer months, and a woodland area which forms a shelter belt for the castle and formal garden area. Our gardeners take great pride in maintaining the gardens for visitors to enjoy, which is not always an easy task in the unpredictable Argyll weather. The gardens provide the perfect home for all sorts of wildlife, from red squirrels to owls and pine martens.
Scottish Field spoke to Her Grace, the Duchess of Argyll, and our Head Gardener Glyn Toplis about the gardens and their upkeep.
