Argyll Estates currently has four beautiful self-catering holiday lets available for short-term letting.  All our properties are open year-round, with reservations taken for 7-night stays only (exceptions can be made outwith the peak season).  We also welcome one well-behaved dog to stay in each of our properties.

Stronshira House, Inveraray

Set down its own private drive, Stronshira House is positioned on the edge of Loch Fyne overlooking the beautiful town of Inveraray. The house sleeps 10 people and we welcome one well behaved dog to join your holiday.

Beautifully and respectfully renovated in 2011, the house is an ideal let for a get together with family or friends. The house has its own enclosed garden which leads down to the loch with stunning views across the water. The ideal base for exploring the surrounding area of natural beauty.

Garron Lodge, Inveraray

Sleeping 2, Garron Lodge is a charming historical building set alongside the old Garron Bridge in a beautiful spot overlooking Loch Fyne, near Inveraray.

This category A listed building has been brought lovingly up-to-date whilst retaining many of its original quirks and character.  The cosy sitting room is the perfect place to relax in the evenings with a wood-burning stove at its heart and unbeatable views across the loch.

Gamekeepers Cottage, Isle of Tiree

Situated on the edge of Scarinish on the beautiful Isle of Tiree, Gamekeeper’s Cottage provides you with the ideal setting for a peaceful break and to spend your days exploring this stunning island.  A traditional croft house with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the cottage comfortably accommodates 6 people.  The large open plan kitchen/living room provides the perfect space for families and groups of friends to relax.

The cottage is within walking distance of the local supermarket and only a 5-minute drive from many of the best beaches Tiree has to offer.  A well-equipped house also with drying room for wetsuits and outdoor gear.  The house also enjoys a spacious enclosed garden.

We are now taking bookings for 2025!  Our 2025 weekly prices range from £795 in the off-season, to £1,045 during the peak season.  A £300 security deposit is required at the time of booking which is refunded to guests within 10 days of departure provided that no damage has been done or additional cleaning has been necessary.

Island House, Isle of Tiree

Island House occupies a charming lochside location in Heylipol, in the middle of the Isle of Tiree.  Set right on the banks of Loch An Eilean and with beautiful views, this substantial house is ideal for both group holidays and family gatherings.  The house was originally the home of the Duke of Argyll’s Factor and has even been used as the island’s courthouse in the past.

Sleeping 15 in the main building, and a further 3 in the annexe, along with a spacious kitchen, 2 living rooms and utility/boot room, there is ample space for a comfortable retreat.  There is also a spacious garden to enjoy.

Island House bookings are restricted to 10 people except by agreement.

Price varies depending on group size, season and whether the annexe is needed.  A £500 security deposit is required at the time of booking which is refunded to guests within 10 days of departure provided that no damage has been done or additional cleaning has been necessary.
