Stalking
Argyll Estates offers some of the finest hill and woodland deer stalking available in Scotland in the spectacular landscape of Mid-Argyll. We offer stalking for red, roe and sika deer, and you can enjoy either a single day of stalking, or you can book up to five days. Those who book four or more days of stalking receive a discount on a stay at one of our two holiday lets, perfectly located on the edge of Loch Fyne, Inveraray. Our experienced stalker, Tom, will take you on an unforgettable trip into Glen Shira, where he will guide you to hopefully get you the shot you are looking for. The Argyll weather can be harsh, so guests must be prepared for all weather types with suitable clothing.
Hind stalking is sold on a daily rate per rifle, with up to two guests welcome per rifle. Stag stalking is charged per stag shot.

Shooting
We offer group snipe and geese shooting on the beautiful Isle of Tiree, the most westerly island of the Inner Hebrides. We offer four-night wild goose and/or snipe shooting breaks, fully catered staying at the magnificent Island House for groups of 6-8 guns. The trip includes three days of shooting, which our experienced keeper, Peter, will guide you on to ensure you have what is sure to be a truly unique experience. Enjoy a morning sitting out for greylag geese, returning to a hearty breakfast prepared by our wonderful cook, before heading back out in the afternoon and/or evening to different areas of water.
Shooting in Tiree in the winter months is not for the faint hearted, although reportedly the sunniest place in the UK, Tiree is also renowned for its wind (and it’s not uncommon to have plenty rain!) so outdoor sport can be hard going. All quarry is wild so we cannot guarantee good bags, but with more than 18 years of shooting experience on Tiree, you will be in good hands with Peter.

Fishing
Inveraray
In order to protect stocks, we are not currently offering fishing permits in the Inveraray area.
Tiree
Loch a’ Phuill and Loch Bhasapol offer trout fishing. The 2024 season will run from 13th April – 5th October inclusive.
Conditions:
- Fishing is fly only.
- Boat fishing only, no bank fishing.
- Catch and release, quick handling practices, knotless nets.
- All catches must be reported to our Tiree Keeper, Peter Isaacson, by email to [email protected].
- Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times whilst fishing. Failure to comply will result in removal of permission to fish with no refund given. Lifejackets can be provided.
- No fishing from 19th July – 11th August 2024.
Prices:
Day tickets – £60 for one rod fishing with the estate boat. A second rod can join for an additional £30.
Engine hire – £20/day.
Week ticket – 5 days fishing for one angler with boat is £250, plus £65 for engine hire.
Season permits for permanent residents – £120.
Season permits for summer residents – £240
