Yes, the estate grounds are open 365 days a year so you can visit at any time. When the Castle is closed parking is available in town, a short walk from the entrance to the estate grounds.  Please note the formal Castle gardens are only open during Castle opening hours.

Responsible wild camping is permitted, per the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.
